Job description

Sway Development is a young growing company, which specializes in business development for B2B companies. In other words, we contribute to simplifying, improving and concretely implementing all stages of business development and prospecting for companies ready to grow. We become an extension of their sales team.

We are currently looking for a business development intern to expand our team and meet the needs of our various clients. These are particularly in the following industries: marketing & advertising, digital marketing, content creation, information technology and real estate.


  • To be assigned to one or even two client companies (depending on their needs);
  • Perform analysis, targeting and strategic monitoring of assigned companies;
  • Analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Set up, update and/or maintain the database in the CRM of assigned clients;
  • Do direct prospecting via different channels (LinkedIn, emails or others) as a client's representative;
  • Write pitches, email templates and other related elements;
  • Keep clients CRM pipelines up to date;
  • Carry out follow-ups and follow-ups via the various communication channels;
  • Hold weekly or bi-weekly meetings with assigned companies to inform them of progress;
  • Coordinate meetings with client companies and their prospects;
  • Other related tasks.


  • Excellent sales and communication skills;
  • Basic knowledge in CRM software;
  • Focused on closing;
  • Analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Great ability to juggle several projects at the same time;
  • Ease and creativity in writing (pitch, emails, etc.);
  • Sales experience (minimum of 2 years);
  • BAC in progress in a relevant field (major asset);
  • Knowledge of the following areas (major asset): marketing, web-marketing, website design, SEO and SEM, content creation, architecture, design, real estate.
  • Bilingual (French & English).


  • Flexibility of homeworking at 100% except for occasional meetings 2 to 3 times a month. The candidate must preferably be located in Montreal or in the area (not more than 1 hour driving from Montreal).
  • Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
